I first encountered DesignBais in March 2004 at Spectrum and was immediately impressed. More importantly, it was obvious from comments heard from our MultiValue developer colleagues that they were very impressed as well - Pick people are a funny lot, and in my experience that sort of reaction was uncommon. The product responded to the needs of its intended audience in ways that other offerings did not. The implementation was good and the company behind it was strong. Everything about it was right – and in my view that hasn’t changed.

I’ve been continually pleased with the company responsiveness to change requests and have been impressed with the valuable improvements made over time. I’ve showed many on-line and live demos, and trained a number of people – the response from these sessions is always enthusiastic and positive. After forging a business relationship with DesignBais International, about 60% of our business is now dedicated to selling and supporting this software, writing code, and providing other services for DesignBais developers and end-users. DesignBais has helped us to increase our client base, and to generate revenue for us and our clients who sell their own business applications.

I’m happy to announce that our involvement with this software has resulted in an increased presence in Europe where our new representative Joseba Real de Asua has just sold a number of licenses in Spain. We intend to use the Glossary feature of DesignBais to translate the development environment and product documentation into Spanish and other languages. I firmly believe this initiative is going to propel MultiValue business applications into markets that have not yet been explored.
